Author's POV
"Urgh!" Reema threw her phone on the wall. "Saim!!!" She screamed. Tears started rolling down on her face. How easily he said that he was happy with his wife.
How can he be happy when she was in pain.? Does that mean he never loved her but she loved him. She left her uncle's house for him and he was happy in his life with someone else?
"How?! How can you be happy Saim? How?" She wiped her tears and stood in front of the mirror.
"I loved you maybe I never said that to you but I do. And I am not ready to give up on you just like Aina didn't give up and tricked you in this marriage I'll do the same to separate you both"

"Ain!" He shouted again. Aina's head lowered even more seeing the embarrassed smile of their mothers face.
"Aina go see what he wants now?" Shamim said trying to hide her smile. Aina nodded and walked out of there.
"I think we will have our grandchildren soon" Shamim and Zubaida laughed making Aina who was still outside of the kitchen blushed deeply.
"What happened Saim? Why do you always make me embarrassed in front of everyone?" She whined sitting on the sofa as she knew he was ready and he just wanted her in front of him.
"You spoiled my habits. It's been six months since our marriage and since six months you are always around me in the morning while I get ready for the office and if sometimes I don't find you near me, I forget to function." He said sitting beside her while wearing socks. Aina giggles at him before holding his face and kissed his cheek.
"I love hearing this from you." She kissed another cheek. He left his work and fully turned towards her "I'm happy that you can't function without me just like I can't." She pecked his lips before grabbing the watch from the table. Saim smiled. She always showered him with her unconditional love.
She held his hand and made him put watch on his wrist. After that she entwined their fingers kissing the back of his hand.
"You are making me feel like a teenager. I am way more older to feel tingle all over" he mumbled making weird faces. Another laugh erupted from Aina's mouth.
...........................
It's been one week since Reema and Saim stopped talking. Saim only talk to her when needed while Reema tried her best to resolve their issues but looks like Saim didn't want that. He was right in his place as he would talk to her freely she will have hope or she could try to make indifference between him and his wife which he didn't want. Deep in his heart he knew he just wanted to escape from the seed of doubt Reema planted in his heart. He doesn't want to know the truth. He was happy the way his life was going and he wanted things to be like this only.
Meanwhile Reema wanted truth to come out and she will do anything to get Aina's truth out. She won't let her win.
____________
He was working in the office when his secretary came in with a file.
He took the file and started examining it. After a few minutes his secretary started screaming making him jerked back on his chair. She started slapping herself and rubbing her arms and crying loudly. He run towards her.
"What happened miss Fouziya? Are you okay?" He tried to hold her hand as she was leaving bruises on her face, arms and hand. Her short sleeves tore apart and he held her hand in instinct to stop her from doing anymore harm to herself just then the door open and Reema with few employees and his brothers and father burst in.
And the position was Saim holding her hands__she was trying to free herself and crying badly.
"Dad, look what happen to her? She was doing......" He left her hand and turn to his father to explain but that girl started crying loudly saying..
"Please sir save me. I am not that type of girl. Please sir save me from your son"
Saim's head shot towards her.
"What the hell are you saying?" He Shouted.
"What happened here?" Hameed baig asked in hard tone.
"Sir your son is after me since a few weeks but when I didn't accept his advances he.... He tried to....force me" she sat on the floor crying badly by then all the office staff present in the room.
"No! She is lying? Why are you doing this? Baba she is lying" Saim panicked seeing the look on everyone's face. Sympathy for Fouziya and disgust for him. "Why are you lying? I never looked wrong at any female staff in this office. Why are you lying then?" He turn to his father " baba she came with this file" he showed him the file " and started screaming and hitting herself I was just stopping her" he explained with fearful tears in his eyes. He already went through this situation and he never want that to happened ever again in his life. He can't see disgust in his family's eyes again.
"No, he his lying. He tried to forced me. He sexually assaulted me" she again started crying loudly.
"You bloody bitch!" He marched towards her in anger when Zaid and Affan held him. He tried to get out of their grip.
"Saim! Stop where you are!" His father shouted making him stop. "We will see CCTV footage don't worry." His father put hand on his shoulder making him get relax. Yes he has CCTV camera in his office.
Zaid and Affan open his laptop for CCTV FOOTAGE but to Saim's bad luck the room's camera was off.
"Camera was off!" Affan announced making ground slip under his foot.
"See he off the camera so no one can find out about his act!" Fouziya said.
"Shh. Relax don't cry" Reema wrapped her shall around her arms and look towards Saim with disgust. She took that girl and stood up. Fouziya pushed her hand and ran out of the room.
"Everyone go away from here" Hameed's loud voice echoed.
Reema walked towards Saim.
"Aina told me to stay away from you as you are not a good man but I didn't believe her. She told me you raped her and when everyone get to know you have to marry her to save your reputation in the family" Reema said with venom in her voice.
"My Ain will never say this" he replied in a hard tone as he believes her. He thinks Reema still trying to create misunderstanding between them which he will not let her do.
Reema shook her head and walked out of the room with a small smirk on her face.
"Let's see how long your trust will last".
...............
"No! I won't believe you!" Shamim shouted pushing Zaid.
"It's true mom. We all saw with our eyes__ Saim bhai was holding her and she was crying" Zaid pointed his finger at Saim who was sat on the sofa holding his head. "We also don't want to believe it but bhai's past actions was not much good" he looked away as he cannot look at the elder brother he always admired in shady character.
"How could you do this Saim!? How?" The small voice of his father heard. He looked up with pain in his eyes. "You have such a beautiful and innocent wife then how can you look towards some other girls?" Hameed voice laced with disbelief. "I never thought you would be the one to bow my head in shame in front of the world. You were my pride"
Saim stare at his father heartbroken. He didn't have any hope for his family to believe. He knew they wouldn't believe him just like they didn't believe him in Aina's case.
Aina.
He remembered about Aina and look around the room to find his peace. He found her against the wall standing looking down on the floor. He couldn't see her eyes, he become restless. He wanted to see her in the eyes. He wanted to know if she trust him or not. He wanted to know what she was thinking.
Aina stood rooted to the spot, her body frozen the moment Zaid uttered the words—his employee had accused him of attempted rape. The shock hit her like a thunderbolt; her mind went blank, and she couldn’t move, couldn’t even breathe, as the world around her blurred into silence
"Ain." He walked towards her and held her hands. "I don't have any hope that they will believe me but I hope that you believe me" he sat in front of her in his knees making her look at him. Her eyes turned red with tears in it. "I never looked at any other girl with bad intentions not even before marriage_ now I have you and You are more than enough for me. I am truly happy with you. I don't want anyone else" his eyes filled with unshade tears.
"Just tell me that you trust me" he begged making her sob.
"Saim....."
"Mr Saim baig" before Aina could say anything someone loudly called his name. They all turned towards the door. Saim stood up.
It was the police.
"Yes" Saim walked towards them with confident steps.
"We have a complaint against you for attempt to rape." Everyone in the family were shocked.
"No my son didn't do anything" Shamim ran towards her son and held his hand.
"You have to come with us" inspector come front with handcuffs. Saim look towards his father who was staring at the police without saying anything. He look at Aina who was also staring at them with terror in her eyes but no one said anything. He held his hands infront of them. Aina's heart sank as she saw them handcuffing him and taking him with them.
"No!" She ran towards him and wrapped her arms around him. Pulling him in a hug with forced. Saim stumble but maintain his balance. "I trust you!" Saim felt his breath got release which he didn't know he was holding. "I trust you more than anyone in this world." She mumbled in ear. He raised his hand and took her in his arms.

"Thank you," he said, his voice filled with overwhelming relief and happiness, holding her tightly in his arms as she sobbed uncontrollably, clinging to him.
“Mr. Baig, please come,”
“No!” She tightened her grip on him, refusing to let go. “Please, no! He didn’t do anything! He’s innocent!” Aina pleaded desperately with the inspector.
“Ma’am, please let us do our job,” they tried to touch Aina’s hand, but Saim turned sharply, shooting them a deadly glare.
“Dare you touch my wife!” he growled, positioning Aina protectively in his arms, his back now facing the officers. “I will come,” he said firmly to the police.
“No! I won’t let you go!” she cried, clutching him even tighter. Saim smiled faintly, his eyes glistening with unshed tears at the intensity of the girl trembling in his embrace.
“Look at me,” he cupped her tear-streaked face, forcing her to meet his gaze. “I will come back. Don’t worry. I’ve done nothing to be afraid of. And remember… Allah humare saath hai.” [Allah is with us.]
Her nose red, cheeks flushed, and eyes brimming with tears—Aina looked heartbreakingly adorable. For a moment, Saim wished he could just hold her forever and forget the cruel ni world beyond.
He leaned in and kissed her forehead with a gentleness that made her crumble. Aina clutched his collar, sobbing as if her soul was being torn apart. The rest of the family stood silently, their eyes moist, unable to witness their pain without being moved.
“ASP sahab, please remove the handcuffs from my son's hand's,” Hameed stepped forward, shielding Saim like a lion protecting its cub. “We will come to the police station ourselves.”
Aina’s unwavering faith and love had moved everyone—no one could now doubt Saim’s integrity.
“Let me go, Ain,” he whispered.
She shook her head stubbornly. “No. If you go, I’ll come with you,” she declared with trembling resolve.
“Ain… meri jaan… don’t make this harder for me,” he murmured, his voice raw. “We have to face this. We have to pass this test together. Tumhein mazboot rehna hoga. Tum meri taqat ho.” [You have to be strong. You are my strength.]
Aina, the most delicate soul in the family, had always been protected from the harshness of life. This moment—this trial—was too much for her fragile heart.
“I’ll come too…”
“Don’t you dare, Aina,” his tone was soft but firm. “I don’t want to see you there. I’ll be back—don’t worry. Take care of yourself. Tum meri taqat ho, Ain.” [You are my strength, Ain.] He again emphasized his words.
He pressed another kiss to her forehead, then gently pulled away from her grasp.
Affan stepped forward and held Aina’s arms as she tried to resist. “Aina… we’ll bring bhai back. Don’t worry. Nothing will happen to him. We believe him too,” Affan said, trying to calm her. His last words were directed at Saim with a subtle, confident smile.
Saim turned around and walked out of the room without glancing back.
Zaid, Hammad, and Razzaq (Aina’s father) followed closely behind, their faces solemn and tight with concern. Meanwhile, Affan led Aina to her mother, who embraced her tightly.
“Mera bacha… Don’t cry, beta… Saim will come back,” her mother whispered, gently rocking her sobbing daughter in her arms.
Affan exited the house, pulling out his phone to call their lawyer without wasting another moment.mn
